OPTION 1: Online Research & Theory Workshop (K-8)
DESCRIPTION: This workshop develops the research, rationale and why in how to provide both universal access and targeted language learner support through Project GLAD®. It introduces Project GLAD®s framework, which meets the needs of language learners. Participants will be introduced to effective and engaging strategies.
Note: Research and Theory Training is the first part of a two part series. Please see Option 2, for the second part of the training.

OPTION 2: Customized Classroom Demonstration
DESCRIPTION: In the classroom demonstration, teachers observe students utilizing the strategies with a Project GLAD® trainer. The participants are supported by a Project GLAD® coach who will facilitate a deeper understanding of the strategies, their variations, and engage participants in meaningful conversations around the model. During the afternoons of the demonstration, participants will begin planning and preparing materials to use in their classroom right away to effectively support application and implementation. Seeing successful strategies with the students is the most effective method of promoting change.
Note: The Classroom Demonstration is the 2nd part of a two part series. You MUST take Option1: Research and Theory Training (above) prior to this training.
Certification of Foundation Training available only after demonstration.

OPTION 3: High-Leverage Strategies for Multilingual Learners (Elementary/Secondary)
DESCRIPTION: This synchronous workshop is designed to introduce/review the most effective high-leverage Project GLAD® strategies that focus on access and engagement. In addition, time will be given to explore practical strategies for implementation of integrated and designated ELD.
AUDIENCE: This training is intended for those who would like to explore Project GLAD® strategies or would like a refresher with the strategies.
COST: $750 per participant
